Reviewed and approved
When you connect an inbox, you sign in through OAuth. OAuth is the sign-in system that Google and Microsoft themselves own and run: you type your password on their page, never ours, and they control exactly what an app is allowed to ask for.
Majir uses Google and Microsoft OAuth, and inbox access is read-only and revocable. You can revoke access at any time from your Google or Microsoft account security settings. What Majir may access is defined by the permissions you approve on the provider's own sign-in screen, not just by our promise.
Six facts
Read-only access
Majir can read email to find offers. It never sends, deletes, or moves your email.
What we scan
Recent promotional email, filtered by shopping-related keywords. Majir reads offer text and the text inside offer images.
What we pull out
The brand, value, expiry, and coupon code. That becomes a money move in your wallet.
Encryption
Your sign-in tokens are stored encrypted.
Who can see your offers
Your personal offers are visible only to you. They are never shown to merchants or other users.
How to revoke
Disconnect in the app under Manage inboxes, or revoke Majir's access from your Google or Microsoft account security settings at any time.
