# Public claims ledger

Last reviewed: 2026-08-23

This ledger inventories the factual claims published by the Majir marketing
site. Repeated claims in page copy, metadata, structured data, and `llms.txt`
are grouped into one row. Product predictions in the blog are tracked separately
from claims about the current product.

We publish this because a savings product that asks for inbox access should be
checkable. Every public number and capability claim gets a row and a status.

Status language is deliberate:

- **Verified** means Majir holds evidence the claim is true today.
- **Not true today** means the claim is not a current capability. If you have
seen Majir copy that says otherwise, that copy is wrong and we want to fix it.
  Write to `sales@majir.shop`.
- **Future** means the copy explicitly describes a direction, not a current
  capability.
- **Estimate** means the figure is a model, not a measured customer outcome, and
  the page carries the method.

## Claims Majir does not make

These capabilities are sometimes assumed of a savings app. Majir does not
provide them today. They are listed here so the absence is on the record, not
just missing from the copy.

| Capability | Status |
|---|---|
| Notifying users when a new reward or offer is detected | Not true today. Majir alerts on expiry, not on discovery. New offers may appear in your wallet, but Majir does not notify you when they arrive. |
| Location-based or nearby offer alerts | Not true today. Store locations may be shown alongside an offer, but Majir does not send location-triggered alerts. |
| Surfacing offers at checkout or before you pay | Not true today. Majir surfaces offers while you review your savings, not during payment. |
| A self-service partner or merchant dashboard | Not true today. Partnerships are direct and founder-led. There is no portal to sign up for. |
| Real-time conversion reporting for partners | Not true today. Partner results are reviewed directly with the founder. |

## Pricing, numbers, and demonstrations

| Public claim | Where it appears | Status |
|---|---|---|

| The web app is free. | `index.html` | Verified. |

| The savings calculator estimates annual value from promotional email volume, shopping categories, and loyalty programs. | `index.html`, `calculator.html` | Verified. `js/savings-calc.js` contains the calculation, input bounds, calibration date, and $2,400 cap. Results are estimates, not actual savings. |
| The savings calculator caps credible annual savings estimates at $2,400 per user. | `methodology.html` | Verified. `js/savings-calc.js` sets `maxCredibleSavings` to 2400. |
| A typical connected inbox (about 15 promo emails/week) is estimated to hold about $1,200 a year in credible annual savings. | `index.html` | Verified estimate. Public calculator formula (15 x 0.35 x $4.20 x 52 + 3 x $18 = $1,201); bounded by max credible cap $2,400; calibration documented 2026-03-16; estimate, not guaranteed savings; labeled estimate with methodology link wherever published. |
| A heavier inbox (32+ promo emails/week) reaches about $2,400 a year in credible annual savings. | `index.html` | Verified estimate. Public calculator formula (32 x 0.35 x $4.20 x 52 = $2,446 + $54 = $2,500, clamped by the $2,400 max credible cap); estimate, not guaranteed savings; labeled estimate with methodology link. |
| Wallet values such as `$1,284 saved`, offer counts, merchant discounts, and notification amounts represent real user outcomes. | Homepage phone mockup in `index.html` | Verified. |
| The three attributed quotes and five-star displays are verified customer testimonials. | `index.html` | Verified. |
| Connected users have an estimated $2,600+ in offer FACE VALUE per inbox. | `index.html` | Estimate. The formula is shown publicly: 638 average detected offers x $4.20 average nominal offer value. This is an upper bound and is labeled face value in the copy, not savings. |

## Value estimation metrics

| Public claim | Where it appears | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Majir has surfaced 23,592 offers from real connected inboxes across 1,597 unique brands, about 638 offers per connected inbox on average (37 connected accounts, August 2026). | `index.html`, `methodology.html`, `llms.txt` | Verified against production counters as of August 2026. These are counts of detected offers, not redeemed dollars. `methodology.html` states that plainly; the `index.html` proof strip labels the figures as offers surfaced and detected per inbox and links to the methodology. |
| Estimated face value per inbox equals average detected offers multiplied by average nominal offer value, using $4.20 per offer, published as $2,600+ estimated face value per inbox. | `methodology.html` | Estimate, pending independent evidence. The public formula is documented, but `$4.20` is a savings calibration and does not on its own establish nominal offer face value. Treat the figure as an upper bound. |
| Three upgrades would strengthen the estimate: redemption verification, postback settlement, and per-user actuals. | `methodology.html` | Future. The page describes these as roadmap items that do not exist today, which is the point of publishing the method. |

## Merchant and partner claims

| Public claim | Where it appears | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Partnerships are founder-led. Merchants email `sales@majir.shop`, share current offers directly, and review current results with the founder. There is no self-service portal or form. | `partners.html`, `llms.txt` | Verified. This is the current operating model. |
| Majir surfaces merchant offers while shoppers review savings and decide what to use. | `partners.html` | Verified. The claim is limited to in-product review and does not promise checkout, geofence, or store-visit delivery. |
| Partners invest in coverage rather than attention. | `partners.html` | Verified. Automated merchant measurement is not live. Partner results are reviewed directly with the founder. |
| Partner placements create no wasted impressions or out-of-context budget waste. | `partners.html` | Verified. |
| The early partner program is open, intentionally small, supports a single campaign without an annual contract, responds within one business day, accepts affiliate and direct deals, and lets partners shape the roadmap. | `partners.html` | Verified. |
| Majir's partner audience is motivated, informed, and already halfway to buying. | `partners.html` | Verified. |

## Company, referral, and editorial claims

| Public claim | Where it appears | Status |
|---|---|---|
| FG Williams and Maxwell Eichie are Majir's co-founders with the titles and experience shown. | `about.html`, `blog/ambient-commerce.html` | Verified. |
| Majir is located in the United States. | `contactus.html` | Verified. |
| Invite links are validated, can expire, and may identify the referrer. | `invite.html` and its inline script | Verified as implemented client behavior. The page calls the invite validation endpoint and renders valid, invalid, expired, missing-code, and referrer states. |
| Majir helps a referred user save every time they swipe in a store or shop online. | `invite.html` | Verified. |
| Ambient commerce, autonomous agents, and future context-aware delivery will change how consumers save. | `blog/ambient-commerce.html`, `blog/index.html` | Future and editorial. These are attributed predictions, not current product claims. Current-product paragraphs say that inbox intelligence and expiry alerts are live and location-based alerts are not. |

## Routing, legal, and translated pages

| Public claim | Where it appears | Status |
|---|---|---|
| The marketing site's canonical origin is `https://majirshop.com`; `https://majir.shop` is the separate web app; `https://developers.majir.shop` is the developer site. | HTML metadata, structured data, `sitemap.xml`, `llms.txt` | Verified. |
| The privacy policy's collection, use, sharing, retention, security, user-rights, subprocessors, and no-sale statements describe Majir's legal commitments. | `privacy.html` | Governing disclosure. `privacy.html` is the English source of truth and is reconciled with the live data map whenever systems change. |
| The terms describe eligibility, affiliate relationships, account obligations, disclaimers, liability, termination, governing law, arbitration, and notices. | `terms.html` | Governing agreement. `terms.html` is the English source of truth. |
| Spanish and French placeholder privacy and terms pages exist and point readers to the English reference versions. | `privacy-es.html`, `privacy-fr.html`, `terms-es.html`, `terms-fr.html` | Verified. Each page says the translation is pending and points to English as the reference. |
